The Captain:
I was initially drawn to taking people out on the water for a few reasons. My father and I used to take trips to the beach together as a kid to spend time fishing, and just being on the water brought me such joy. Those trips were more than just a hobby; they were moments of bonding, peace, and a deep connection to nature that has stuck with me throughout my life. The tranquility of being on the water, the joy of catching a fish, and the chance to share those moments with loved ones gave me a deep appreciation for life at sea. Having the opportunity to share the same joy I felt when I first set foot on the water motivated me to become a Captain. It allows me to help other families make memories on the water that they will carry with them forever. There is nothing better than living in the moment of your favorite memory, and being out on the water in Myrtle Beach—whether it’s cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway, exploring the beautiful salt marshes, or fishing the deep blue Atlantic—makes those memories feel even more special.
